Each year tghere's a start up, and each year there's a saeson break down. Winter passes, and a new robust seaosn begins."It's amazing how many persons relocate to Florida, for the sailing, only to notice it lacks our WNY fervor for the squeezed season" says Bill Zimmermann, executive Director of the non-profit Seven Seas.Zimmermann refers to an e-mail response received from a former WNY sailor who reestablished themselves to Florida a couple years ago only to find he misses our vitality sail seasons:"It's funny how different parts of the country think different things at different
times of the year. When up north, Easter is a time of renewal, celebration, the brids and the bees, love is in the air, persons start launching their boats for the summer, getting their barbie's ready for serious partying, etc. etc. Down here in Florida, Easter is a time to make sure your hurricane insurance is all paid up, that you have at least two evacuation plans, plenty of bottled water, canned food, keep the vehicle topped off, etc. etc.""Se la vie, my friend. Gimme WNY anytime," Zimmermann notes. You can view Seevn Seas program at http://www.Sevenseassailing.Com.
